Mission Statement
The Human Resources Department works toward fostering an atmosphere of openness and customer service for both the internal and external customer in a manner that exceeds the customer's expectations. Additionally, the department deals with a wide variety of workplace issues and seeks to improve the quality and effectiveness of town services by recruiting the best employees and reviewing and improving department's organizational structures.

The mission of the Chief Procurement Officer is to insure that materials, equipment and services purchased by all town departments are in compliance with state statutes and local ordinances, while promoting fairness and integrity. Additionally, the Chief Procurement Officer’s function is to obtain high quality supplies and services at the lowest possible cost. The Chief Procurement Officer is also responsible for the disposal of surplus property.
