Independence Day Fireworks


The South Hadley fireworks are held annually at the Michael E. Smith Middle School. This year, the event will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 with a rain-date of Wednesday July 5, 2017. The event features a spectacular fireworks display, food from various community non-profits, games, music, and a great time! The Major Corporate Sponsor is PeoplesBank.

Easter Egg Hunt and Hat Parade


Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Buttery Brook Park. The event features an egg hunt with over 2,000 eggs that are loaded with prizes and a visit from the Easter Bunny! There is also a hat parade when the children show off their finest Easter hats. Winning hats are awarded a prize ribbon. The hat parade will start at 10:00am with the egg hunt immediately following.

Music and Arts South Hadley


Music & Arts South Hadley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote and encourage the arts in South Hadley. Comprised of several dozen, they began in 2013 as a loosely organized band of volunteers with a goal to produce a fun, free one-day music festival in South Hadley Falls.

In July 2013 they produced the first FallsFest Music & Arts Festival. They now run fundraisers and events throughout the year focusing on music and the arts. For all of their upcoming events check out their website www.musicandartssouthhadley.org
