Planning Board to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Master Plan - June 28, 2010
In May 2007, Town Meeting appropriated funding to undertake development of the Town’s first Master Plan in three decades. Town Meeting reaffirmed their support for this endeavor by appropriating the remainder of the funding to develop the Plan in 2008 and 2009. Over a 2 year period, the sixteen member Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) worked with the consulting firm VHB, Inc. and the municipal officials and other citizens to develop a proposed Master Plan. Their recommendations were submitted to the Planning Board in November 2009. Over the past 6 months, the Planning Board has worked with members of CPAC to review and edit the proposed Master Plan.
The Planning Board would like to invite and encourage you to participate in the next step in this process: the public hearing on the proposed South Hadley Master Plan. This public hearing is scheduled for the following:

PLACE: South Hadley Town Hall – Selectboard Meeting Room
A copy of the Plan is available for your review at the South Hadley Public Library on Bardwell Street, in the Office of the Planning Board in Town Hall, and on the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee page on the Town’s website at http://www.southhadley.org
We welcome and encourage everyone's participation in the public hearing and review of the proposed plan. The Board will also be accepting written comments on the plan through Monday, August 16, 2010.
