South Hadley does not collect bulky waste items at the curb. Below is a listing of some examples of items which must be brought in to the Recycling Center at 10 Industrial Drive on Wednesdays or Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm.
Bulky Waste
Items such as furniture, carpets, doors, outdoor furniture, etc. may be brought to the convenience boxes at the Recycling Center for disposal. Items are charged by weight at the rate of $.03 per pound.
Construction & Demolition Wastes
Such as wood, sheetrock, fencing, bathroom or kitchen fixtures, shingles, etc. from home remodeling, These materials may be brought in to the Recycling Center, and are charged by weight as for bulky items. Loads may not exceed five cubic yards.
