The South Hadley Fall/Winter league plays on Saturday afternoons from late October until early March at South Hadley High School. Registration for this league is by the team, not as individuals.

Individuals that would like to play can contact the Recreation Department. Please let us know your position, size and experience level; the team managers are always looking for that information. There is no guarantee for team placement as the teams are responsible to secure their own funding/sponsor.
The South Hadley Men's Spring basketball league typically begins in early April.

The league plays weeknights at South Hadley High School between 6-9pm. Registration for this league is by the team, not as individuals and will begin in February. Teams that played in previous seasons will have the first priority to play. College players are allowed to play in this league.

Individuals that would like to play can contact the Recreation Department. Please let us know your position, size and experience level; the team managers are always looking for that information. The Recreation Department has a co-ed softball league that plays on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon/evenings beginning in April or May and running into the summer months. The league is for team play and signups will begin in March. If you are an individual looking to join a team, please contact the Recreation Department with your information (position, age, experience level, etc…). Teams are often looking to pickup players.

Our spring/summer softball league begins in late April and runs into early August. This is for team play only and information about the upcoming season will be made available in late February. Games are typically played on Monday - Friday nights.
Over 30 Men's Basketball
Our over-30 men's pickup basketball is played Sunday Mornings, November 6, 2011 through March 25, 2012 at South Hadley High School. Play is from 8:30-10:30am each week. We are off on December 25, January 1 and February 12.

The cost to play is $30 for residents/$35 for non residents and you just show up and play. There are two games played at each time and the courts are divided into slower/quicker games.
Tennis Lessons
We will offer adult tennis lessons in June and July of each year taught by Rick Pio. Information is available in April.

Co-ed Volleyball
Co-ed Volleyball: November 28—March 15

This fun activity is open to both men and women ages 15 years and up. Games will be set up with the goal of offering as best as possible a friendly, social and semi-competitive recreational environment. Drop in at the MES Middle School on Tuesday or Thursday nights from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and join our fun group of people!

The cost to play is $30 for entire winter season and can be paid at the site. A calendar will be available as there will be some days off during the winter, off days include Dec 27 and 29 and Feb 21 and 23.

If the school is closed due to weather, volleyball is canceled on that day.
Open Gym Women's Basketball
Pickup Women’s Basketball: Began Saturday, December 3

Open gym pickup basketball will held on Saturday mornings at the Michael E. Smith Middle School from 8:00-9:30am on Saturday mornings. Participants must be age 18 and up (and out of high school).

The cost to play is $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents. The season will start Dec 3 and will run into February. We will not meet on December 24 and 31 due to the holidays and the times may change slightly in January and February.
