Current Schedule of Events:  Click here for the current copy of our schedule of events.

Youth Lacrosse Registrations:  Registrations for South Hadley boys and girls youth lacrosse begin Monday, January 5 and end Friday, January 30.  Boys and girls in grades 3-8 are eligible to play and the cost is $60.  Practices begin in late March and the season runs into June.  K-2 co-ed lacrosse registrations run until Friday, March 27 and the cost is $15.

Healthy Eating Every Day:   Healthy Eating Every Day (HEED) is a simple, fun, weight loss solution custom-tailored to you and your families needs.  It’s different than any other eating or weight-loss program as it incorporates healthful eating, physical activity, behavior modification and group support in a classroom style environment.  Past participants have lost weight, increased their energy levels, and learned the tools to make healthy eating choices for the rest of their lives.  The program meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30pm, begins January 20 and continues for 14 sessions (there will be two breaks within the program).  The will be an information session on Tuesday, January 6 at 6:30pm at the Police Station Conference room if you want to get a better understanding of the program.  The cost of the program is $140 and includes a textbook that you keep and full instruction.  For more information, contact HEED Facilitator Jessica Carey at jessicacarey@verizon.net or 413-534-8163 or the Recreation Department at 538-5039.  A registration sheet will be available in early December.
