Baseball/Softball/Tee-Ball: Sign ups will began Feburary 10th and run through March 10th. We have otions available for children in kindergarten through ninth grade. Once the chidlren are in 4th grade, they have the option of trying out for a travel team or a "recreation" level. Teams begin play starting in late March to late April depending on the age group. Spring Training - April Vacation Mini-Camps: The South Hadley High School Baseball Team and Coaches will be running a Spring Training Mini Camp over April Vacation for boys in grade 5-8 who want to be more prepared for their upcoming season. There will be two different sessions of mini-camps. Session 1 focuses on hitting and will run on Monday, April 21st and Tuesday, April 22nd. Session 2 focuses on pitching, catching and defense and will run on Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th. The mini-camps will be held from 8:30am-11:30am at Landers Field. The cost is $50 per session, or $90 for both sessions. This is a great opportunity for players looking to get pre-season traning prior to starting their regular season. The mini-camps will focus on developing skills necessary to be succesfful players on the

K-2 Lacrosse: Sign ups for grades K-2 lacrosse will begin February 10th and run through March 10th. *Any second grade girl that played K-2 in 2013 can play up in the 3/4th Bantam division this year.* Any child playing in the K-2 division will also be able to play tee-ball as well.
Lacrosse Grades 3-8: Registrations for our lacrosse teams in grades 3-8 are now closed. We will take players up until a team fills up. At this point, we have a waiting list for Boys 5/6th and 7/8th grade teams. Practices start the week of March 24.
Tang Soo Do: The art of Tang Soo Do is now being offered for youth and adults age 10 and up! Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at Plains School gymnasium from 6-7pm for youth ages 10-16 and from 7-8pm for youth and adults age 17 and up. Class runs from March 31st to May 19th and is $60 per person. Students who attend that class regularly and show progress will be tested and promoted to ranks within the belt system of the World Tang Soo Do Association. Red Sox Bus Trips: The South Hadley Recreation Department will offer two bus trips to Fenway Park for the 2014 season. Tickets are sold on a first come, first paid basis and are on sale now! The cost for each trip is $90. We are offering trips on Saturday, May 17th and Saturday, August 23rd. For more information and/or a registration form please click here.
Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees: On June 29, we will have a bus trip to Yankees stadium to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. We will release information once the Yankees set a time for this game!
James Taylor at Tanglewood: Join the South Hadley Recreation Department on their annual trip to scenic Tanglewood to see James Taylor on Friday, July 4. This show will feature James Taylor with his extraordianry band of musicans at Tanglewood. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, beverages, and a lawn chair and/or blanket. Each participant will recieve a Lawn Ticket and motor coach transportation to/from South Hadley High School. For more information and/or a registration form please Click Here.
Friday Night Ballroom Dancing: Learn Foxtrot and Rumba, and enjoy 15-20 minutes of open dancing toward the end of class with Reisa Alexander! The session will run for six weeks onMarch 7, 14, 21, 28 and April 4 & 11. The cost is $60 per person or $100 per couple. 7:00-8:30pm at the South Hadley Town Hall. Participants must preregister by March 5th at the Recreation Department or by sending in this form.
Adult Sport Information: Click here for a listing of all of our adult programs. We are currently looking for teams for our Men's league and Co-ed League this spring/summer.
Adult Indoor Soccer: Co-Ed Soccer for adults ages 18+ will be held on Monday night from 7:45pm-9:15pm at Mosier Elementary School. This program will run from January 27th through March 31st. The cost is $10. There is no need to call ahead just show up ready to play.

Tanya Gets You Fit Classes: The South Hadley Recreation Department and certified personal trainer Tanya Ryan have teamed up to offer the following fun and dynamic group exercise programs: Boot Camp, Cardio Kickboxing, Core Power, Pilates, Total Body Blast and Zumba. Aquacise Classes: Join our water aerobics class that meets on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:30-8:30pm at the Michael E. Smith Pool. This program will resume next September. Click Here for additional information about the class and a registration form.
Hula-Hoop Fitness: Come check out what the Hula-Hoop Fitness craze is all about! Free classes are being offered on Thursday March 20th at 7:00pm and Saturday March 22nd at 10:30am. Classes will be offered on Thursday nights starting March 27th from 7pm-8pm and Saturday mornings starting March 29th from 10:30am-11:30am.
