Steering Committee
Revitalization of the Falls Area has been a long-held priority for the community and is a central feature of the current Master Plan. To further progress towards this objective, the Selectboard and Planning Board formed a steering committee for the purpose of pursing a grant from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This grant, the Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) program is a results-driven community design effort. Were the Town to be a recipient of this grant, a multi-disciplinary team of professionals with expertise tailored to respond to South Hadley's specific needs would visit the Town for 3-4 intense and productive days. The deliverable for this process is a report that the Town would then be able to use to continue its improvement efforts for the
Falls.
