  • Description of Services: The Assessors office must discover and list all taxable property, maintaining accurate ownership and property information. The department establishes the "full and fair cash value" of each of the Town’s approximately 7,200 taxable real estate parcels and approximately 600 business personal property accounts. The assessed values are the basis of the distribution of the Town’s annual property tax levy. The department also administers the motor vehicle and boat excise taxes.

The following is the most current fee schedule for the Assessors office:

Copies: $1.00 per page (property record cards, deeds,  maps, etc)

Fax: $2.00 per page (payment must be prepaid)

Abutters Lists:  $15.00 (50 parcels or less) $30.00 (51-99 parcels)$75.00 (per 100 parcels or any portion thereof)
