The South Hadley Police Department believes in excellence, accountability, and transparency in providing the community with quality police services.  We make every effort to provide as much information to the public as we legally can, and make it as easily accessible as possible.  Below please find links to the public logs of the South Hadley Police Department:

Important information:
Monthly Arrest Log: This log, as required by MGL41 §98F includes data on all adults arrested by the South Hadley Police Department, except the exemptions of Domestic Violence or violation of an order of protection under MGL 209a
Monthly Call Summary:  This log includes a numeric summary of all calls for service received by the South Hadley Police Emergency Communication Center, except fire alarms and fire incidents responded to by South Hadley Fire District personnel.  This monthly summary includes # of calls and % of total calls.
Weekly Public Call Logs:  This log includes date/time/street of South Hadley Police Department calls for service that are considered public records under Massachusetts General Law.  Calls that are not considered public records for the purpose of this call log include:

  • service and violations of orders of protection under MGL 209a and 258e
  • commercial and residential burglary alarms
  • R U OK emergency notification for vulnerable seniors and community members
  • domestic violence and criminal harassments
  • house or business security check
  • open doors or windows
  • medical calls, including crisis
  • service of civil process, including summons and warrants/writs of apprehension for medical evaluations under MGL 123 § 12 and MGL 123 § 35
