Grants up to $2,500
Application Due Date: June 17, 2022
The Town of South Hadley is offering reimbursable grants of up to $2,500 to commercial businesses and property owners within the Village Commons area for outdoor furniture and games to activate the streetscape within this commercial district. The Village Commons area includes the Village Commons shopping and residential development and extends outward to adjacent businesses and restaurants near the intersection of Route 47 and 116. The purpose of this program is to attract visitors to the many businesses and restaurants within this district and provide enhanced outdoor amenities.
How the Program Works
Selected outdoor furniture and/or games must be used in support of the commercial businesses located on the property (e.g. outdoor dining, seating, umbrellas, etc.) Select items from one of the participating local vendors listed below and receive a price quote from the vendor. Submit the price quote along with a completed application. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility and Notice of Awards will be made by June 30th. Grants will not be made for any purchases made prior to a Notice of Award.
