In an effort to raise awareness on proper recycling methods in our community, three Girl Scouts from South Hadley - Abby, Adi, and Natalie of Girl Scout Troop 12948 - worked on the following recycling education project to earn their Girl Scout Silver Award.
Paper bags or open top containers only; Must be curbside by 7AM on your trash/recycling collection day. Each route will have two collections. Brush must be tied in bundles (no metal) of not more than four foot lengths.

Off-week curbside pick-up
If you need an additional trash pick-up on top of the bi-weekly service, Contact Republic Services directly by calling 1-800-551-5584 to coordinate one for a subsequent subscription fee.
Current trash/recycling center/compost stickers are now available. The $125 Fiscal Year trash fee must be paid in order to obtain a sticker. Payments may be made online or via mail with a check. The DPW does not take payments for the trash fee.
