Tai Chi Class Description
This gentle, strength and balance focused exercise class is taught by a trained YMCA instructor. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. This class is led by Denise Barry.
Beginning Exercise Class Description
This is a low-impact aerobics class intended for beginning students.

- Every Tuesday and Thursday
- Bring water and a snack

On Wednesdays, Healthy Bones and Balance meets at 10:30 a.m. There is no charge.
Osteoarthritis Exercise Class Description
This is a gentle chair exercise class with a focus on strength given by trained RSVP volunteer instructor.
Relax and color on first and third Monday of the month at 1 p.m. in Room 3.
Description of class:
Every Wednesday, starting June 26, at 9:15 a.m. instructor Michele Lyman, owner of Serenity Yoga Studio, will teach her class at the South Hadley Council on Aging. This 10-week series provides participants with calming breathing techniques, gentle flowing movements and basic balancing poses. Relax and settle in as you learn to feel your way through your practice. Key benefits of this class include: reducing stress, improving stability, improving body alignment, and increasing joint mobility.
Tuesday at 1 p.m., play Bingo in Room 2.
On Mondays at 1 p.m. play Canasta or Pinochle in the Dining Room with friends.
Description of class:
Tuesdays at 10 a.m., join Personal Trainer Heidi MacEwen, RYT for Circuit Training. Rotate through 6 pieces of fitness equipment. Exercise and have fun! MacEwen is the owner and operator of Total Body Yoga and Pilates Fitness Studio.
