Beginner Spanish  

Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.  

Introduction to speaking, reading, writing, and listening to Spanish for this course. It is open to students who have little or no experience with Spanish. It also includes some history, geography, and culture of the Spanish speaking world.   

Intermediate Spanish

Wednesdays 3:30 p.m. 

Students should be familiar with the basic vocabulary and grammar. This course is open to students who have some basic experience with Spanish. A placement test will be given to assure the student is ready for the Intermediate course.

Wednesday, Sept. 6th and 20th  1:00 p.m.

Ronnie has been leading Karaoke for 20 years! Singing has been shown to relieve stress, boost your immune system,  improve lung function, develop a sense of belonging, enhance memory and help with grief. Come join the fun!

Celebrate National Senior Center Month with a Tropical Escape Party! Lunch will be provided compliments of the Chefs of Loomis Village. Understanding the Health Benefits and Risks of Medical Cannabis for Seniors

Tuesday, September 5th at 5:00 p.m.

Facilitated by Jeffrey Wyda RN,HN-BC,H.S.M.I,  a Board Certified Holistic Registered Nurse who worked extensively on legislation in Massachusetts as a Nurse Activist for the Massachusetts Patients Advocacy Alliance (MPAA). We will discuss the current laws, the different variations of cannabis and methods to administer, and storage and safety regarding transporting medicine and equipment.
