South Hadley Cooling Shelters: Public Library, Council on Aging

Blue ice cubes are piled together

With extremely high temperatures forecasted for this weekend in South Hadley, it will be important to stay cool.

The South Hadley Public Library, located at 2 Canal Street, and the Council on Aging, located at 45 Dayton Street, are both designated cooling shelters for those who need to seek relief from the heat.

Taking a splash through the town's spray parks are a fun way for the whole family to beat the heat.  Spray parks are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Beachgrounds Park and Buttery Brook Park.
