Leaping Well Nature Trail/Former Toth Property
Toth Property, Mosier Street (21 acres)
Although not under the care and control of the Conservation Commission, the Toth Property includes the 0.66 mile Leaping Well Nature Trail, which is a pedestrian and bicycle path that was constructed in the late Fall of 2018. From the trailhead on Mosier Street, the path follows the edge of a thorny thicket along the lawn of Mosier Elementary School, then winds through a young forest on the upper bank of an intermittent stream. The trail loops through an old farm field, a forest of ornamental pear trees, and across several wetlands along wooden boardwalks.
