  1. Fall yard waste pick-up Oct. 28-Nov. 22

    October 28, 2019, 7:00 AM - November 22, 2019, 4:30 PM

    South Hadley's fall yard waste curbside collection is set for Oct. 28 - Nov. 22. Each route will have two collections. Please only use paper or open top containers. Any brush must be tied in bundles of no more than four feet in length. Yard waste must be curbside by 7 a.m. on collection day. Please keep yard waste barrels separate from trash barrels. If you have specific questions, please reach out to the DPW at 538-5033.

  2. Leaping Well Nature Trail Opening & Guided Trek

    November 17, 2019, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Mosier School

    The Bike-Walk Committee invites the public to the "official" opening of the new Leaping Well Nature Trail & a guided trek on its trail system. Located on the 21-acre former Toth property in the center of town & behind Mosier Elementary School on Mosier Street, this 0.66 mile gem of a neighborhood trail is the newest addition to South Hadley’s ever-improving trail system on town-owned lands. The trail consists of natural surfaces, e.g. grass, dirt, wood chips, contains a few minor ascents & descents, & winds through a young forest, an old farm field, a forest of ornamental pear trees & across several wetlands along wooden boardwalks. Park in the large Mosier School parking lot. Wear weather-appropriate clothing & safe footwear. Post-trek, please join BWC members & the Toth family for light refreshments & socializing.
