The South Hadley Public Library will be closed to the public on Thursday, February 6 and Friday, February 7 due to a carpet replacement project. The location of the work will make the building inaccessible. Staff will be monitoring email and phone calls. No items checked out from SHPL will be due on those days and patrons are asked to return them to the Gaylord Memorial Library or hold on to their items until the following week.
There will be extended hours and programs at the Gaylord branch on Thursday, February 6. The Gaylord Memorial Library at 47 College Street will open early at 9:30 and there will be a full slate of programs that day: children's programs in the morning and afternoon, an after school teen crafternoon program, and the popular Spice Club (registration required) for adults in the evening. On Friday morning, children's storytime will take place at Gaylord at 10:30. The
