Join the town on Tuesday, April 8 at 4 p.m. for the groundbreaking of new construction and improvements at Buttery Brook Park!
The upgrades are made possible by a matching Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities grant. There will be several new amenities to make the park more inclusive and engaging for all users.
Planned improvements include:
- Four new pickleball courts
- ADA-accessible playground features
- A new band shell for performances and events
- A nine-hole disc golf course
- A half-mile walking loop
- Planting of 200 new trees
Town officials and community leaders will be in attendance for the ceremony, which will mark the beginning of construction on these enhancements.
The park is located at 123 Willimansett St. The public is welcome to join.
