[ARCHIVED] Attorney General's Approval and Extension Request of 2025 Town Meeting Articles

The Attorney General's office has approved Articles #15 and #17 from the 2025 Annual Town Meeting and requested an extension of their review of Articles #16, #18, #19, and #20.  Their new deadline to review the articles is now November 10, 2025.

Whenever a Town votes to adopt or change its general or zoning bylaws, the Town Clerk's office must submit them to the Attorney General's office within 30 days. The Attorney General's office must then review the bylaws to ensure they are consistent with State Laws. This review must be completed within 90 days, unless the Attorney General's office requests an extension.
