The Attorney General's office has approved Article #20 from the 2025 Annual Town Meeting held on May 14, 2025.
Whenever a Town votes to adopt or change its general or zoning bylaws, the Town Clerk's office must submit them to the Attorney General's office within 30 days. The Attorney General's office must then review the bylaws to ensure they are consistent with State Laws. This review must be completed within 90 days, unless the Attorney General's office requests an extension.
