Join the South Hadley Conservation Commission in getting local trails ready for the season. The South Hadley Volunteer Conservation Corps will work to clear the Bachelor-Stony Brook Conservation Area on June 9 and June 12 in a River to Range Trail Work Party.

Bring work gloves, bug spray, sunblock and whatever else you need to be comfortable working outdoors. Tools will be provided but all are welcome to bring their own hand pruners, metal rakes and wheelbarrows.

Crews will clear trails on Sunday, June 9 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., and on Wednesday, June 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. On both days, meet at the River to Range Trailhead parking lot, located off of Ferry Street adjacent to the Mount Holyoke College community boathouse at 240 Ferry St.

If interested, register as a volunteer, here. If you have any questions, contact Conservation Administrator / Planner Anne Capra at 538-5017 or by email, here
