South Hadley Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 18. A town-wide parking ban will be in effect on every South Hadley street beginning Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 8 a.m. until Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
If unable to park in a driveway during the ban, residents must park on the even-numbered side of their street on even days and on the odd-numbered side of their street on odd days. Residents must switch their vehicle to the opposite side of their street between 8 and 9 a.m. each day during a parking ban.
No on-street parking is allowed on Bridge Street, Lamb Street, Bardwell Street, Main Street, Route 116, or Lower North Main Street.
Resident compliance with the parking ban is needed. All violators are subject to, and will be issued, a $25 fine. Any vehicle violating the ban is subject to being towed. There is no warning requirement. Violators who are ticketed may also be towed.
The ability to clear South Hadley streets during a snowstorm is integral to public safety. In order to properly do so, resident compliance with the town-wide parking ban is needed. We appreciate your compliance during a winter parking ban. Thank you for your assistance in helping South Hadley clear roadways in a timely manner.
