Stay up to date with the latest news in South Hadley by signing up for "News & Announcements." You can choose to receive texts or email versions of these "mini press releases" immediately after they are posted or updated.
You can do this using our "Notify Me" feature. Click here to be taken to the Notify Me page. Alternatively, on the town website, click I Want To > Request Submit > Alerts & Notifications. Scroll to the "Notify Me" section at the bottom of the page.
On the "Notify Me" page, at the top, you will need to type in your email address to sign into the town website. If you have not yet made an account with the town website, you will need to do so. You can do that, here.
Once you are signed in, you can choose to receive emails or text messages. Do this by checking the box next to "I prefer to receive HTML emails when available" or " I would like to be able to receive text messages on my mobile phone" at the top of the page under the box with your email address.
Next, scroll down to the section titled "News Flash." Here is where you can choose different groups from which to receive notifications, such as "Alerts," "Public Health," "Community Event," "Solid Waste" and more. To subscribe, click either the email button or the cellphone button to the left of the group.
After you choose your group(s), you will be asked to confirm your account. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folders.
You will now receive texts or emails when a "News & Announcement" is posted to any group to which you are signed up. If you have questions on how to sign up, please email Kristin Maher or James Doolittle.
