Helping South Hadley get shots in arms to protect against COVID-19 is the state’s mobile vaccine unit. It will set up in South Hadley on Saturday, Sept. 4.
Parked at the Michael E. Smith Middle School from 1 to 9 p.m., a vaccine provider within the unit will administer Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to the public, be it a first or a second dose.
For those who receive their first dose of Pfizer on Sept. 4, the mobile unit will return Saturday, Sept. 25 from 1 to 9 p.m. to have a provider administer the second follow-up dose. A third booster shot can be administered to those who qualify.
