Tuesday, April 14, 2026 Annual Town Election Important Information

Registering to Vote

The deadline to register to vote in all elections or primaries is 10 days before the election. Please note: If the last day to register for a Local Election falls on a Saturday, the date is moved back to a Friday.

You may register to vote via any of the following ways:

• Online 
• Mail-in Registration Form (PDF)
• Automatic Voter Registration through State Agencies
• In person at the Town Clerk's Office during office hours

Voting in South Hadley

All precincts vote in person at South Hadley High School, 153 Newton St, South Hadley, MA. 

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If you can't vote in person on Election Day, other voting options include:

• In-person Early Voting in Town Clerk's Office: only available for State Elections/Primaries. Full schedules will be posted.
• In-person Absentee Voting in Town Clerk's Office: Available until noon the day before the Election. You will be required to fill out an in-person absentee application.
