1. Trash and Recycling will continue until June 30, 2025 as it has been: Green Bags for disposal and dual stream recycling (separated cardboard/paper and bottles/cans/glass).
2. NEW Town issued trash and recycling carts, one each per household, will be delivered to each property during the month of June.
3. New Trash Collection: begins July 1, 2025: trash in the Town issued TRASH CART will NOT need to be in a green bag (bag of your choice). Town issued RECYCLING CART: collection will change from dual stream (separated cardboard/paper and bottles/cans/plastic) to single stream: place cardboard/paper/bottles/cans/glass ALL into the same cart (Orange lid). Both carts must have the lids completely closed for collection.
4. ONLY TOWN ISSUED TRASH AND RECYCLING CARTS WILL BE COLLECTED: NO OTHER CARTS WILL BE ALLOWED. (personal carts can be used for yard waste collection in the spring and fall)
5. After July 1, 2025: NO ITEMS WILL BE COLLECTED OUTSIDE OF THE TRASH OR RECYCLING CARTS.
6. Any overflow trash and recycling (amount exceeding a full cart), must be held until the next trash collection day, or disposed of at the Recycle Center (Tues-Sat 8 to 3).
